Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 2026

ScanRub ("we", "us") builds an autonomous security scanner and research platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account data - email and authentication identifiers used to sign in.
  • Scan data - targets you submit, scan configuration, and the findings produced. You are responsible for ensuring you are authorized to scan a target.
  • Usage data - product telemetry such as feature usage and error logs, used to improve reliability.

How we use information

  • To operate scans, generate reports, and provide the agent and research features.
  • To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
  • To communicate service updates. We do not sell personal data.

Data retention

Scan results are retained for the lifetime of your account or until you delete them. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Sub-processors

We use infrastructure and AI providers (cloud hosting, model providers) strictly to deliver the service. Scan targets and findings are processed to produce results and are not used to train third-party models.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us to exercise them.

Security

We apply least-privilege access, encryption in transit, and isolation between tenants. See our Security & Responsible Disclosure policy.
